Meet Our Management Staff

Shane Carr

President and Owner

Shane is a lifelong resident of St. Petersburg, Florida and the second generation to lead the business his father founded. Having grown up in the business, learning all the roles from the ground up starting in 1992, Shane understands every aspect of large concrete construction projects. From his hands-on time in the field to cost estimation, project management, and his current role as president, Shane has overseen tremendous growth and built a reputation as a leader in concrete construction. His role as president has him focused on continued growth and fostering a culture of pride in craftsmanship. In his free time, Shane enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying the beautiful nature of the Gulf Coast as an avid outdoorsman.

Steve Wicks

Vice President

As Vice President of Carr & Sons Masonry, Inc, Steve has a broad range of responsibilities, but his main objective is to help tie the office to the field. His responsibilities include managing the estimation department, gathering prospective project information, and assisting in selecting the projects we'll pursue.

Once a project has been awarded, he then reviews and negotiates the contract terms and assists with the handoff to the construction team for a full understanding of our responsibilities. He reviews from a broad perspective the project finances and manages the invoicing and payments of the clients.

Steve attended the University of Florida and graduated in 1999, where he earned a Civil Engineering Degree. After college, he spent five years working for an engineering firm and gained valuable experience in design. This experience lent itself well for his transition into construction.

In 2005 he joined Carr & Sons Masonry, Inc, where he has been involved with system implementation, employee development, and the vision of business growth.

Michael "Kade" Sanchez

Director of Vertical Division

Kade was raised in New Port Richey, Florida, with generations of family roots in the area. His father owned a small concrete business and instilled hard work and business values in him as a young man.

He started his career in 2001 at a local Florida Redi-mix supplier as an outside sales representative. Seeing the business from a supplier perspective helped him understand material cost, material quality, and concrete placing rates. In 2008, Kade decided to join our team to help with sales and purchasing. During the growth of the company, Kade has worked up the ranks with involvement in all aspects of the business, from estimating, operations, project management, and sales.

Kade is currently the head of the Carr & Sons Masonry, Inc vertical division and works diligently with his team to promote the company’s culture and deliver a quality product to our clients while continuing to grow the business under the ownership's direction.

Noah Schnell

Director of Tilt-Up Division

Starting his career in South Florida, where he was raised, Noah worked his way through the field from the bottom-up, learning every aspect of the tilt-up construction process. In 2014, Noah decided to re-locate to the Tampa Bay area and join the team at Carr & Sons Masonry, Inc to help manage and grow the tilt-up division.

As Director of the Carr & Sons Masonry, Inc tilt-up division, Noah helps to promote the company’s culture, formulate policies, procedures, and strategic plans for future growth under ownership's direction.  With more than 20 years of concrete tilt-up experience, Noah brings a wealth of knowledge to every project from his hands-on experience in a wide variety of roles in the field and office. Noah received his degree from Florida State University, which he attended on an athletic tennis scholarship, and is also a State Certified General Contractor (CGC1522122).
